Assembly Product Technicians

A successful and well established business in the Biggin Hill area are looking for additional Assembly Technicians in their production department.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble and test electronic and electro / mechanical products in accordance with Work Instructions and Test Procedures.
• Record test and calibration data into QA database.
• Able to understand assembly instructions and technical drawings.
• Keep the workplace clean and tidy in accordance with company 5S standards.
• Carry out work safely with minimising possible hazards and risks.
• Wear provided PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and company uniform as required.
• Follow company guidelines, procedures, and policies.

Skills and Competencies:

• Electro-mechanical assembly experience with some experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Teamwork - working with the existing team of production technicians and engineers
• Good work ethic and able to work to production deadlines.
• Attention to detail essential for this position.
• Good communication skills necessary with ability to follow work instructions.
• Enthusiastic, with a can-do attitude

Salary offered subject to experience and qualification.

Monday to Friday 07:30 to 16:00 or 08:00 to 17:00pm

31 days holidays, benefits include contributory private pension scheme and private medical after qualifying period.

Full training will be provided.

OWN TRANSPORT IS NEEDED DUE TO LOCATION. THERE ARE LIMITED TRANSPORT LINKS TO THE AREA AND NO TRAIN STATION.
