My client has an exciting opportunity for a Sales Support Assistant/PA; this is a newly created role providing a consistently high level of administrative support to the sales team, assisting in the delivery of sales and marketing initiatives to achieve business objectives.

This is a varied and busy role supporting the Head of Regional Sales and his team of Business Development Executives.

You will enjoy diary management, arranging meetings, travel arrangements, handling expenses, producing correspondence, documents and reports, assisting with the preparation of presentations, tenders and proposals documentation and organising client events.Acting as a point of contact for the sales team, you will respond professionally and effectively with telephone queries and where appropriate liaise with other departments ensuring any resulting queries are managed in a timely and customer focused manner.

You will maintain all aspects of client records and use your initiative to research potential prospects via the internet, databases and publications to build the client database and

to help generate new business.

This is an interesting and involved role proactively supporting business development and therefore requiring someone who is accustomed to working in a B2B sales/telesales role ideally within the financial services industry. With a natural attention to detail you will have excellent organisational skills, lots of initiative and a pro-active approach to work. Your outstanding communication skills are paramount as you will have extensive liaison with internal and external clients.You must be committed to achieving results of a high quality and be confident and adaptable in a rapidly changing environment.Competency using MS Office applications is essential.Ideally you will have used Salesforce or a similar CRM system.
